Members of ABPA are insured against liability to pay compensation in respect of personal injury, public liability and property damage that may be incurred while playing pickleball under the direction and control of ABPA. Once approved by the Committee, the Honorary Members will be asked to give emergency contact details and to sign the following standard members’ declaration:
I apply to become a member of Avalon Beach Pickleball Association Inc. in accordance with clause 5 of the Constitution. In doing so, I consider myself to be physically fit and capable of full participation and agree to notify the club if this changes. Further, in the event I am injured I give my permission for event organisers to obtain emergency medical treatment on my behalf.
